PRE-CONSTRUCTION CONSULTATION

We begin with a conversation and questions regarding your new home or remodel goals, needs, timeline, and budget expectations to help us learn about your goals and expectations.

If you already have an architectural or design plan, we will review the plans with you and have a brief discussion about the project during the initial conversation.

Our team will help determine your home’s current value and provide a general estimated cost based on your preliminary requests and ideas.

Once you decide to move forward with your new custom home, addition or remodel, we’ll begin the design process.

PRE-DESIGN

If you’re not already working with an architect or design professional and wish to have our team help with that, we will be happy to assist.

Our design team will invest the time to learn your goals and take in to considerations for your Cape Cod custom home needs, budget expectations and specific requests for your new home before designing your custom home. This step is essential and ensures your expectations, budget, and vision are aligned.

DESIGN

Once we capture your ideas and goals we will begin work on the design process. Once we finish the design stage, our team will work with you to finalize the selections for materials, fixtures and finishes and help you make informed decisions throughout the process.

We then will provide you with a detailed estimate pricing based on your selections for your project, ready for your review and approval.

PERMITTING

Our next step is the permitting process for your custom home.

Permitting process can be quite difficult and confusing as there are many regulations, limitations, different town zoning regulations, wetlands, conservation requirements and limitations, historical approvals, septic design requirements, set backs, energy efficiency requirements (such as Net Zero Home requirements) and much more.

Our collaboration with the best local land surveyors, real estate Lawyers, Zoning Attorneys, home energy consultants, wetland specialists, scientists and engineers ensures you’re in good hands with qualified professionals who will work tirelessly to the successful permit issuance for your new custom home on Cape Cod.

After permit is issued we begin the ordering of special order materials and schedule your project start and finish dates accordingly.

CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

There are a series of stages in the construction of a new home on Cape Cod. Some of the major stages are lot clearing, excavation, foundation, framing, side-walling, roofing, rough electric, rough plumbing, heating and cooling, insulation, sheet rocking/plastering, trimming, flooring, painting, and finish work. FINAL WALKTHROUGH

Nearing the completion of your home, our experienced team will ensure all design objectives and our high-quality standards are met.

Our team will then invite you for a walk-through of your finished home together, giving you the time needed to inspect every detail and ask questions regarding your new space.

POST CONSTRUCTION

We offer property management and yearly maintenance services you can enroll in, after completion of your home, to ensure your new custom home is running as smoothly and as efficiently as possible for many years to come.

Timeline

You’ll always know exactly where your project stands, what the anticipated time frame for each milestone and project completion is, and when payments will be required from the initial contact.

Our team of project managers and office managers will keep you informed  throughout the process, you will receive updates, upcoming milestones and progress updates, pictures, along with schedule updates and budget updates provided to you weekly, so you’re never left wondering where your project stands and what to expect.
