Stage Harbour Chatham

This Stage Harbor residence was reimagined through a comprehensive exterior transformation designed to enhance the home’s architectural character while introducing a beautifully integrated pool and outdoor living environment. The project was approached holistically, allowing architecture, landscape design, and site planning to work together as a cohesive composition that elevates both the appearance of the property and the way it is experienced every day.

One of the defining elements of the project was the site’s natural topography. Rather than viewing the grade change as a limitation, it became an opportunity to create a thoughtful design solution that adds both visual interest and functional value. A custom-built deck system was developed to establish a level and welcoming plane around the pool, forming a strong connection between the home’s interior spaces and the outdoor living environment. This tailored approach resolves elevation transitions gracefully while giving the pool terrace a sense of permanence, intention, and architectural harmony.

The redesigned exterior introduces greater depth, proportion, and balance to the residence, reinforcing its presence within the landscape while maintaining a refined and understated aesthetic. The new pool terrace expands the usability of the property, creating a private retreat that supports relaxation, entertaining, and everyday enjoyment.

Developed in collaboration with Plunge Pool Cape Cod and Custom Crafted Grounds, the project reflects a shared commitment to quality craftsmanship, careful coordination, and thoughtful execution. Every detail was considered to ensure the finished environment feels cohesive, natural, and enduring.
